all in one reviews Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool
Keyword research is essential to any website hoping to get free traffic from search engines. Without proper keyword research (and topic research) you are flying blind. Each post would be a “guess” at what your target audience is looking for, and how many are looking for it! Even if you are super familiar with your niche, a keyword tool can still help you discover new or related phrases to target. Plus, it can give you insight into which pages could potentially get the most traffic, so you can decide where to focus your marketing efforts.
In my review of Jaaxy I'd like to show you why it's the best tool for your keyword research.
As part of my Jaaxy review, I'll also show you how it can can actually make you more money from existing campaigns, as well as properly create new money-generating sites.

A look inside Jaaxy
Jaaxy Pro: $49/month
Jaaxy Enterprise: $99/month
Jaaxy Enterprise: $99/month
Is Jaaxy worth the money? For me, yes. I earn a great income online, so $99/month (I have Enterprise) is an easy spend. Jaaxy helps me earn more money, so it's worth the cost. Plus, Jaaxy has a lot of features that other keyword tools do not, which is why I choose to use it over other competitors.
Frequently Used Jaaxy Features
Keyword Data
This is the most obvious one to use. It's the core of keyword research. Getting good keywords means you'll know which topics get the most traffic and which ones you will rank for most easily. This is a big topic to cover, so this will be covered more in depth below ==> Skip To Keyword Data Section
Alphabet Soup
Updated in 2017, Jaaxy added a new feature called Alphabet Soup. This basically mixes up your keyword with every letter of the alphabet to get potential search terms. So if I search for send flowers online then it will give me.
- send flowers online + a…
- send flowers online + b…
- ….. + z
Then you end up with various phrases like “send flowers online Antwerp Belgium”, “send flowers online PayPal”, and “send rose flowers online”. (it also mixes up the position of your keyword with the added letters. So you get lots of related searches, and can basically come up within infinite post titles like:
- How To Send Flowers Online From The US to Antwerp Belgium
- 10 Companies To Send Flowers Online That Accept PayPal
- Should I Send Roses Online Or A Different Flower?
On top of all this, you can also automatically do a new search based on a phrase, or add it to a list to search later (brainstorm), which also shows trending searches.
Saved Lists
You will have more keywords than you know what to do with. You can also sell keyword lists, or use them for your PPC campaigns (more on that in the video below). You can export as a .txt file or .csv (spreadsheet), and even choose which keyword data you want to include. I will also expand on this topic below.
Site Rank
Checking your site rank and keeping records of it can show you if changes to your site worked well or not. You can track data for any site (ie spy on your competition), and see who's ranking ahead of you. Type in a keyword and a domain, and you'll see you page/rank location. ==> Skip to Site Rank Update
Search Analysis
Know WHO is ranking for your desired keywords, and what they are ranking with. Check a list of popular web 2.0 properties and article directories that rank well in SERPs like YouTube, Vimeo, Squidoo, Hubpages, and more.
This not only gives you insight to what your competition is using to rank, it shows you what's NOT ranking, and you can use this to your advantage. For example, if there are no YouTube videos ranking, you can make one. It should rank easily.
Alternatively, you can see what your competition is not doing, for some insight into what you can do to your page to help you outrank them. For example, if they only have 1000 words, you can write 3000.

Jaaxy Features I Sometimes Use
Domain Names
Because I don't flip domains or sell websites, I really don't need to buy domains that often. This can be a key feature of Jaaxy when starting a new website, especially if you want to buy a keyword-rich-domain. Sometimes, I do find little gems here and there, but I don't really use it to buy domains that often. One interesting way to use this is to look at the availability of top-level-domains to see how competitive a space is.
Search History
Another cool feature but I only use it when I forget to save some good KWs I found. It's just a way to look back into your search history so you don't lose all that great data.
Jaaxy Features I Rarely Use
Training
I learned how to do keyword research inside Wealthy Affiliate, so I don't make much use of the training. However, if you are new to Jaaxy, I highly recommend you watch these videos. PLUS, I offer some exclusive training for Jaaxy which you'll find out more about below.
Jaaxy 3.0 was recently released and they've updated the training. There's 2 videos, 20 minutes each, and they are quite useful for beginners and intermediates, especially since they simplify the research process quite a bit versus other similar tools.
Affiliate Programs
I do my own research for affiliate programs just by searching in Google. But if you don't know how to do this or just want to centralize your research, this is pretty cool. It searches some popular affiliate networks like Clickbank, Link Share, and Commission Junction to check for affiliate programs/offers related to your niche.
Personally, I think it's a bit limiting because there are so many other networks and lots of private programs as well. I'll stick with Google for now. Just type “my niche” and “affiliate program” into a search engine and see what pops up!
Brainstorm
This is a list of popular topics being searched on websites like Twitter, Yahoo, Google, and Amazon. The topics shown aren't always related to your niche, so you might have to get creative using the info here. You'll see a lot of TV shows, politics, and new technology stuff listed here. Anyway, these topics not being relevant to what my sites are about is why I rarely look at this info.
The Main Attraction: Keyword Data and Keyword Lists
Let's take a look at what Jaaxy tells us, and how we can use it to get traffic to our website.
In the screenshot below I did a search for “send flowers online”. Jaaxy gives us a few important pieces of data; I'll cover them in order of importance.
==> Sign Up To Jaaxy For Free
1) Monthly Searches
This tells you how many people are searching for the term each month. Higher is better because there's more interest in the keyword.
2) Estimated Traffic
This will tell you how much traffic you can expect if you rank on page one. There are 10 spots on page one, and whether or not a person clicks your site depends on the title, meta, and other factors. Again, a higher number is better.
3) QSR (Quoted Search Result)
This is your competition. Lower is better. This is a piece of data that most other keyword tools don't offer. It used to be that Jaaxy was the only one, but some other popular tools have since followed suit. How important this piece of data is is debated among affiliate marketers. However, it's the main data I use when choosing to target a word or not.
Under 300 is a medium-competition keyword. Under 200 is a low competition keyword.
4) KQI (Keyword Quality Indicator)
This is a broad look at all factors related to the keyword. Green means it's a good keyword to target (high chance of ranking). Yellow is just an average keyword, and red means you can safely skip this one or it may take much longer to rank.
How they create the KQI number is proprietary, but the idea is just to get a quick look at whether it's a good/normal/poor keyword to target.
5) SEO Power
Also contributing to the KQI, SEO power tells you how easily an SEO optimized post/article will rank. Generally speaking, longer keywords will have a higher power than shorter ones because they are more specific and less competitive.
6) Domain Availability
This will tell you which domains are available for a specific keyword. Exact match domains still rank well despite recent Google updates!
I don't use this feature a lot because I don't buy domains much, but for someone buys domains wholesale, creates lots of niche websites, or creates websites for other people, it's cool that you don't have to open up a domain registrar in another tab to check domain availability.
7) Save Selected
A great way to compile keyword lists. High traffic, low competition keywords are in demand for online marketers. Create lists to offer as bonuses to your readers, or use them to lay out the beginning structure for a niche website you want to create. Create a new list each time, or save to an existing list.
8) Related Keywords
See what people are searching for related whatever you just searched. You can see from the screenshot that people are searching for “same day delivery flowers usa”. These keywords sometimes use your key phrase, or sometimes use unrelated words, but are just related searches. This is a great way to get outside of the box and find niche-related topics you might not have thought of on your own.
Site Rank
This is the best feature update for 2017. Site Rank is a tool included with Jaaxy that's not only fun, but will save you a ton of time. It shows you the rank for your website in Google for a specific keyword phrase. This means you don't have to check and track any of your rankings manually.
Normally, you have to open a window in incognito mode, type your phrase in, and find your rank manually. With Site Rank, you can do everything within your Jaaxy dashboard. Here, you can see that I'm ranked #3 for Jaaxy Review in Google, #7 in Bing and #7 in Yahoo. Bing and Yahoo tend to favor keyword stuffing, so I don't rank well there since I tend to write naturally.
Another neat feature here is that you can set to “auto track” rankings in different time periods. This could be a great ego boost if you start out ranking #27 for your phrase, and six months later end up at #1. Watching our progress over time is necessary for morale. Sometimes, ranking is hard, and we forget how far we've come.
A more practical use would be if you were building websites or doing SEO for clients and wanted to prove to them how you improve their site over time. Here are some other phrases I've been tracking. It will show you your position, and the arrow will say if your rank improved or not. To see how many places you improved/dropped, look at the image above under “position change”.

More About SiteRank: I just wanted to add another screenshot here showing how cool the SiteRank tracking feature is. At a glance, I can just see whether my sites are improving or not. Below, you can see that all the stuff I'm tracking is doing not-so-well. No one ever said SEO is easy! LOL. My excuse is that these are all newer keywords, or harder keywords, which is why I'm tracking them 🙂 Anyway, you can see how two of my websites are doing in an instant.

Is Jaaxy Worth Your Money?
There is one simple question I ask myself when deciding whether or not a tool is worth my money, especially if it's a monthly fee.
Will this tool help me earn more money?
If the answer is yes, then I pay for it. Considering Jaaxy is a monthly payment, I have to re-answer that question every single month. Should I keep my subscription? Yes, I still need it to make money.
A single keyword can earn you thousands of dollars per month. I documented this in my post about earning $300 per month from one blog post. Imagine discovering just one profitable keyword per month. $300 x 12 = $3600. That's an additional three thousand dollars you could be adding to your income every year.
Even if the only thing Jaaxy does is save you time, it can still be worth the cost. Reducing keyword research time from 3 hours per week down to 1 hour, means 8 hours more per month you can spend working on other parts of your business. Or it could just mean more time off, doing what we love best…not working. LOL.
